How to do it

Step by step

1

Lunge

Step one foot forward into a deep lunge, back leg extended, hands framing your front foot.

Drop & hold

Sink your hips down and forward to feel a stretch through your back hip and front leg.

Rotate

Place your inside hand down and reach the other arm up toward the ceiling, opening your chest and rotating your spine.

4

Flow & switch

Return your hand down, step back, and repeat on the other side.

Tips for best form

Do it right.

  • Sink into a deep, stable lunge
  • Keep your front knee over your ankle
  • Rotate from your mid-back, not your lower back
  • Reach tall and follow your hand with your eyes
  • Move slowly and breathe into the stretch
