Serratus Anterior Shoulders Upper Back Core
Step by step
1
Start
Get into a high plank position, hands under shoulders, body in a straight line, arms straight.
2
Protract
Without bending your elbows, push the floor away and let your upper back round slightly as your shoulder blades spread apart.
3
Retract
Squeeze your shoulder blades together, letting your chest lower slightly between them — elbows stay straight.
4
Repeat
Move smoothly between spreading and squeezing your shoulder blades.
Tips for best form
