How to do it

Step by step

1

Start

Begin on your hands and knees in a tabletop position. Wrists under shoulders, knees under hips.

2

Lift hips

Tuck your toes under and lift your hips up and back toward the ceiling.

3

Lengthen spine

Straighten your arms and keep your spine long. Your head relaxes between your arms.

4

Press heels

Gently press your heels toward the ground. Keep a slight bend in your knees if needed.

5

Hold & breathe

Hold for 30–60 seconds or longer. Breathe deeply and enjoy the stretch.
