Step by step
1
Start
Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Hands behind your head or across your chest. Engage your core.

Crunch up
Exhale and lift your shoulders off the floor by engaging your abs. Keep your lower back on the floor.

Top position
Squeeze your abs at the top. Your shoulder blades should be off the floor. Hold for a moment.

Lower down
Inhale and slowly lower your shoulders back down with control. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
