Step by step
1
Set up
Place a resistance band above your knees (or around your ankles) and stand with feet hip-width apart.
2
Athletic stance
Sit into a quarter-squat with knees slightly bent, chest up and core engaged.
3
Step out
Step one foot out to the side against the band’s tension, keeping tension the whole time.
4
Follow & repeat
Bring the other foot in (without letting your knees cave), then continue stepping in that direction. Repeat both ways.
